Hall of Fame

The Club was formed in 1964 by a coal miner called Bob Lowe (who sadly passed away in 2001) a well known and volatile local character in his day (He once refused to allow a referee who turned up late to take over from himself). Originally know as Dunston Rovers, the club has had several name changes including Dunston Red Lion, Dunston Wheatsheaf before settling on its Current name of Brampton FC in 1983. It started playing in the Chesterfield Amateur League and also played in the Sutton and Skegby League before rejoining the Hope Valley League in 1989.
